Jeffrey Hall
04Jeffrey Hall is Chief Executive Office of Jamaica Producers Group (JP) and has been in this role since 2007. JP is a holding company for a diverse group of transnational businesses operating in Food & Drink and Logistics & Infrastructure. Mr. Hall is credited with leading a turnaround of JP through diversification and growth of the group in Europe and the Americas. He joined the board of JP in 2004, and serves on the board’s Executive Committee and on the board of all of its subsidiaries. Mr. Hall is Chairman of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited, the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited and Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited, all of which operate in financial services in Jamaica. He is also Chairman of Kingston Wharves Limited, Lumber Depot Limited and the Blue Power Group Limited. Mr. Hall received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (summa cum laude) from Washington University, his Master of Public Policy from Harvard University (where he was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow) and his Juris Doctorate (with honours) from Harvard Law School. Mr. Hall has practised banking and securities law in New York at David Polk and Wardwell, as a member of the New York Bar. Over the course of his career, Mr. Hall has served on the boards of the Bank of Jamaica (Jamaica’s central bank), the Jamaica Stock Exchange, the Institute of Jamaica, JAMPRO (Jamaica’s trade and investment agency), Jamaica’s National Housing Trust and as a Commissioner of Jamaica’s Education Transformation Commission.
